For Brady Martens, skateboarding became an integral part of his life in elementary school. Not only did it provide exercise and fresh air for him, but it allowed him to connect with the community as he often traveled to and from his friends’ homes, meeting and making new friends along the way!

As Brady grew into a man, he continued to skateboard and was an active member of the community. He never met a stranger and spent most of his adult life giving back to and helping others.

This scholarship was created to remember and honor Brady by providing scholarships to Skate DSM’s Push Start skateboarding clinics and equipment for younger generations.
