The Streetstyle Open is a multi-day open street contest throughout Des Moines including the world-class Lauridsen Skatepark.

Different types of contests on different types of terrain make this a unique and fun event for skaters and spectators alike

Pop-up skatepark including the DSM Bump to Bar, food trucks, cash for tricks contests, and more!

How do I register?

Most contests are free and open to all skaters. Registration information for Manny Mania and the contests at Lauridsen Skatepark will be available soon.

How much does it cost?

All events are free and open to the public. A small registration fee is required for contestants on Saturday, September 21 at Lauridsen Skatepark. 

Where do I stay? 

Skate DSM has secured room blocks at several area hotels. Check out the Recommended Hotels section above. 

Where do I park at Lauridsen Skatepark?

A new parking lot is scheduled to open on the north side of the park off of University Ave.

Will food & beverages be available?

Food trucks will be available at the Welcome to Town Party at Cowles Commons and at Lauridsen Skatepark. 

Do you need volunteers for the event(s)?

Yes! We are in need of several volunteers to make this event a success. Further information will be available soon.
