Recap Edit Contest

Be a part of the action at the 4th Annual Des Moines Streetstyle Open by capturing all the energy and excitement! Attend the Streetstyle Open and film clips throughout the weekend. Make a short edit, and submit it to Skate DSM for a chance to win $500 and have your video shown on the Nine Club! 

Criteria

Suggested edit length is 4 minutes, but we will accept and review edits of any length.

Special consideration will be given to edits that are a true recap of the 2024 Streetstyle Open. Edits should capture the full vibe of the weekend including clips from all events, lifestyle, sponsors, activations, and behind the scenes action.

Judging

A local panel will review all submissions and select 3 finalist videos which will then go to public vote to select the winner.

Finalists announced and voting will begin on October 19 and run through October 25 at 11:59 pm CDT. 

The winner will be announced on October 26, 2024.

Submission

Upload your video to YouTube and email the link to info@skatedsm.org with “Real Style Open Edit Contest” in the subject line. Email submissions are due by 8:00 p.m. CDT on October 12, 2024.  

Prizes

The winner will receive $500 and have their winning edit shown on a future episode of The Nine Club.
