Skate DSM is partnering with the city of West Des Moines Parks & Recreation Department to offer Skateboard Lessons at American Legion skatepark this Summer.
In this class we will be covering the foundations of skateboarding while teaching you what you need to know so you can get to the park and start riding! We will work on riding, pushing, kick turns, and getting comfortable on the board throughout the park. There will be different ability levels with some geared toward the more avid skateboarder looking to learn a little more technical style and advanced tricks. This course will be led by Skate DSM.
Classes run Monday through Thursday at American Legion Skatepark, 301 Vine St, West Des Moines.
